I stopped regretting when I realized that all of those choices, right or wrong, gave me the interesting life I’ve led and made me the person I am. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Choices had to be made with what we had at the time. Crying over it is useless. Best to move on to make better choices in the future.

If you had made other choices in the past, you’d be a different person now. So in a real sense the idiot you were in your 20s is responsible for making you who you are today.

The only problem is that you don’t know the new idiot things you’ll do as you get older.
