Reminds me of my parents who would show up at least an hour early. Got to the point that I would tell them an hour later so that they would arrive on time

Just lock the door until 15 or 20 minutes before the appointed time.

Glad I read the posts. I made the wrong assumption that LGD meant to give them lots of liquor shots to occupy them while you got ready.
