Yeah – Evans is going to string us along a bit. Hopefully he won’t throw in another arc before we find out what’s going on with Brad/Toni or Luann/Quill. AE & TJ are due – but not yet…

Fair point. Toni WANTS to be with Brad. Also, Luann might as well get used to Shanon. The close Toni and Brad get to sealing things, the more likely Luann is to get stuck with her.

Shannon is such a perpetually unwanted child always getting dumped upon the nearest caretaker. It’s kinda weird how Toni always has her around.

i feel sorry for shannon she gets dumped by her dad to her aunt and her aunt dumps her to a baby sitter no wonder kids are messed up these days, family units has broke down

with a sarcastic look on her face…

I’m not bored. I’m amused by Luann’s unwillingness to see her brother as anything other than her yucky brother. I am amused by the pugnacious and demanding Shannon. And I am amused by the implicit togetherness of Toni and Brad. Proceed!

Is Toni going to ask Brad to marry her??

Toni is going to ask Brad to marry her, but will confess that SHANNON IS HER CHILD. Wonder if Brad can deal with that.

Quill shows up in the next couple of days to surprise Luann and she cannot properly greet him because she has the little rugrat. What do you think?

So tomorrow are we going to follow Brad and Toni or Luann and little miss?

Let me guess. Now we come to the part where Brad trips over his tongue (again) and gets Toni’s hackles up (again).

Forget acting Luann, you would make a fantastic kindergarten teacher.

So: Do we get to see the action between Toni and Brad, or the non-action between Shannon and Luann? It’s a rhetorical question.

In about 10 years real time Toni and Brad will get hitched and adopt the little rascal.

“Ew” – Luann looks & sounds like Shannon!BTW, if Luann is going to be a senior, shouldn’t Shannon be at least 6 by now? Why isn’t she in pre-school or kindergarten?

Shannon is spoiled and has no manners.

Good for Luann. -“I’m bored” should be followed with tasks to do.Usually the person who’s bored will be happy to do them. And if not, they will still be less likely to claim to be bored in the future.-I also like the statement, “Your lunk is my hunk.” -It reminds me of GREY’S ANATOMY when they realized George was Callie’s McDreamy. -That didn’t end well, but the idea was a good one.

I like the “your lunk is my hunk” but really, Brad is no hunk. Dirk was but he was not any girl would want, anyway. Appearances could be quite deceiving. Some people equal hunk as heroes and Dirk was definitely no hero while homely and plain Brad is, so I suppose that makes him a hunk in Toni’s eyes.

“There will be many-many arcs before any major lovin’ between Brad and Toni take place.”-Meantime, when next we see Hunk and Hottie, both will be smiling from activities related to what was so important to both of them.-Luann still won’t be able to see how it could be.-Shannon will be happy for the time spent with the much more mature Luann.-The house will be even cleaner than when Luann does it by herself.

“so she’s babysitting Shannon for her brother, and she just passes her off to another babysitter?”-No. She’s caring for her niece and part of that care is placing her in the mature and responsible hands of her near-kin, Luann so she won’t be watching some personal and private activity with Hunk, AKA Bwad.

It has been established that Shannon is the daughter of Toni’s brother. Toni is indeed, ‘Aunt Toni’..Who is Shannon’s mom?

Luann is like a lot of siblings: so used to the family dynamic that she cannot see her brother (or her parents) as individuals, and certainly not people of romantic interest. If/When Brad marries, the idea of him as something other than a brother will at first shock her, and then gradually seep into her consciousness. What is amusing, though, is her contention that her own romantic life is somehow “different”.

when i was working retail, new hires would only say ’i’m bored’ once to me. i could come up with at least 20 things they should be doing instead of leaning on the counter.

Boredom is a very high state, and very difficult to maintain.For simple-minded people, electronics will suffice to seduce the attention, and will further flatter the sense of entitlement and importance.

Delighted to be entertained by a non-Tiffany strip (though I like Tiffany the best), this is good stuff:)

Personally, I thought that evil Eiffel b-witch was going to turn out to be Shannon’s real mom…they look and act the same, cynical, sarcastic, nasty at times, scheming and, they both love “Bwad”! lol

Who tends her when there is a real fire somewhere?

I am surprised that Luann would say ’ew" about her brother. Most girls I knew growing up at that age would think their brother was ’sharp looking" and would be very proud to have him.

Who is Shannon’s mom?.Unknown at this time. Lots of speculation. In all likelihood it is a person that will never be seen in this strip, but personally, I think it would be cool if it turned out to be Ann...Then Shannon’s mom could still be Toni ala Chinatown . . ..SHE’S MY NIECE!SHE’S MY DAUGHTER!SHE’S MY NIECE!SHE’S MY DAUGHTER!
