Of course, proper ‘poop police’ politely offer you one of their pocketful of baggies.

What happened to the good ol’ days when you just let your dog poop in the mean neighbor’s yard???

when you pick up the first, you twist and fold and use the rest of the bag for the second. Great use for the plastic bags in which your newspaper may be delivered. You can get up to three ‘incidents’ in one of those.

I’d blame it on Charlie’s chili nachos.

I never leave the house with less than three bags!

Another reason why I like cats.

I’ve always suspected that you’re a sociopath; must be you who walked your dog in the social path before I got there. Well, you got away with it, clever guy. You know, Jesus didn’t really say; “love your neighbor as you love yourself.” What he really said was; “if your dog poops on your neighbors lawn, clean it up.” You know how these sayings get changed over the millenia; whispering down the lane. But that’s what he really meant.

Plastic grocery store bags can hold a whole lot. Just make sure there aren’t any holes in it. Neither paper nor re-usable canvas make a good substitute.

Assuming that you’re using a deep bag (newspaper or bread bag, for example), using a bag multiple times is easy. For the second and subsequent pick-ups, you hold the bag at the midpoint (or so), and then pull the top of the bag over your hand. You pick up the poo the same way you would if the bag was empty, then re-extend the bag to its full length, dropping the package into the bottom of the bag. Unless you’re walking a really big dog, you can get all of the output from one walk into one bag.

They’re on a ship, isn’t that what the “poop deck” is for? ; ))

Talk about a crappy topic! Anyone who has an indoor cat knows that kitty litter needs scooping too, and there’s no one to blame for having a stinky mess in that box. At least you know it wasn’t the neighbour’s cat.

I’m in an apartment before you suggest I let my (dearly departed) cat out to poop in someone else’s garden. And there is NO law saying that cat owners need to scoop their cat’s poop! :-)

Our newspaper must think there are a lot of sensitive people reading it as they replaced this strip with one from 2010. Can’t use the word “poop” I guess.

We had a dog who walked in a circle while doing his business. I called them crap circles.

This comic has turned kind of scatalogical for my tastes. Just sayin’. Still funny, though.
