Contrast with Dubya who couldn’t think of a single mistake or error made during his presidency. You would think Obama would be praised for acknowledging there is more work to be done.
It isn’t just not being able to change EIGHT years of stupidity caused damage, but nearly 30 years of disaster called “Reaganomics”, with the last four year years of contemptible opposition, for a NOT “loyal opposition” in the House majority, and Senate (filibustering) “minority”.
That is why it’s important, maybe more so, to get rid of those in Congress unwilling to work across aisles, for what is good for those across this nation.
FALSE! He’s asking for a ‘continuance’; because he got the economy out of the hole Bush put it in, and he’s got it going in the right direction. No president in 4 years could have fixed everything Bush broke. i.e. 4.1 million jobs added in the last 2+ years, housing prices going back up, more manufacturing output, etc, etc.
A lot of that debt was the result of Bushy’s tax cuts which the Reeps in congress would not let go of and held hostage in exchange for the payroll tax cut.
Gitmo should have closed three years ago, moving the prisoners to “super max” prisons if necessary, and yes, the “Bush tax cuts” should have ended in Obama’s first year in office, but Congress (NO, the Dems NEVER HAD TOTAL CONTROL) notably all the Repblicons and “blue dogs” stood in the way on both!
^As opposed to an “advisor” who got us into TWO totally unnecessary wars? Oh, right, the lady with a tanker named after her had noting to do with oil. (I heard they changed the name of the ship, embarrassed?)
That’s not how an “incomplete” works, Gary. The Republicans are asking for a do-over — they claim they won’t fail this time the way they did the last time.
Obama is saying that you can’t clean up the Bushevik mess in just three and a half years. And that’s a sensible claim. The idea that letting them take another crack at enriching themselves will help the rest of us — that’s just stupid. No do-overs for the greedy clowns who got us into this disaster.

It took the nincompoop 8 years to destroy the country, how about giving Obama 8 years to fix it?

In contrast to the “Mission Complete” fiasco of the previous administration.

750,000 jobs a month for Bush the Nincompoop. Obama has a lot of catching up to do.
