Just in case you were serious about not getting the pun:-Half drunk as in cups of coffee half empty, and also as in one too many pints of beer (possibly The Bishops Tipple or Shepard’s Ruin)
I’ve come to the conclusion that percolated and re-percolated(Dr Toon style) is the strongest coffee.
Reminds me of a Mr Coffee commercial with Joe DiMaggio from the 1970’s where Joe said..“Mr Coffee …..I’ve never tasted better !”…..Oh c’mon Joe..you were married to Marilyn Monroe..I KNOW you’ve tasted better…./8-)

Personally it’s like “NCIS” Gibbs coffee vs everyone else’s coffee.
