Interesting watching the convention tonight, providing some facts on accomplishments despite Republican’s fighting every effort, versus last week when every sentence ended with “it’s all Obama’s fault”. Of course the fact that it WAS actually “Reaganomics” for years, that led to the economic collapse, with the help of Phil Gramm, and of course "W"’s refusal to follow Reagan and his Dad’s own leads to RAISE taxes to avoid disaster, yes, it is largely “Bush’s fault”.
Well I don’t think Bain is a possitive on Romneys record, or the means by which he made his money, and as far as looking in the past, we all still want to see those tax returns! I guess Romney doesn’t want us to know about his pastPlus it is inherited from BUsh.
So women’s rights don’t matter? And it doesn’t matter that a guy runs for office based on his experience as a businessman but refuses to share the outcome of his experience as a businessman? And the president is supposed to take responsibility for the state of the economy, but not to explain how it got to the point at which he began and why it is not the kind of problem you can solve immediately (especially with the perpetrators of the crash blocking your reforms)?
And it would be wrong to mention what the Romney/Ryan budget would do to the middle class — that’s class warfare and we can’t be talking about the average person’s economic situation!
Did Robert miss the convention last night where so much time was spent talking about Obama’s record versus Romney’s vision for America? Or rather, wealthy Americans.
It has perhaps escaped you that all taxation bills must come from Congress. Congress has been infested with useless vermin (Republicans) who have signed Grover Norquist’s pledge to not raise taxes.
A major part of the stimulus package that DID get passed (over Republican opposition) was improvement of the infrastructure. Again, without Congressional cooperation, the President’s options are limited.
Its the Reeps who keep bringing up culture war bills to pass in their state governments and the Congress. They keep coming from behind with their 18th century agenda.
Obama knew what the job was supposed to be, he did some things to fix it, and it’s helped. But speaking of help, as Custer found, Reno was on his side, but over the next hill, and Boehner, McConnell, and the “blue dogs” have been as helpful as Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse.

What’s the name of that elite Prep school O went to in Hawaii again? Now he’s the one claiming to have grown up in some third world country.
