To unnormalI went through some of my old family photos. You are right about the glasses. There sits my mom circa 1970’s sipping the popular new drink from Mexico. The Tequila Sour. Grinning from ear to ear wearing glass in the same shape. So that is what she must have looked like when yelling at me to turn that damn Beatles music off. I usually just looked away ignoring her. A teenager and her menopause. Not good juju.
Oh forgot to give my state a shout out.State Fair of Texas starts today. Come and get your fried, twice fried , refried, side of fries that are fried, covered in whipped cream and fried again so that it is no longer recognizable. BUT FRIED!!!! One year they did bacon in chocolate and fried it. Tried it. Could not deny it. BACON. Ehhh.
To Bobzilla.Already been done. They did that years ago. Even fried Dr. Pepper. Yes. Dr. Pepper. This year its a fried Oreo drenched in whipped cream. Looks like 10,000 calories.
