His coaching record is not very good. Only 1-8 last year in football? Basketball, football and baseball haven’t had tournament success recently as far as I recall. How does he keep a job? Milford must not care if they win.

Not very flattering for the rest of the team. “Let’s see, who’s expendable?”

Kind of disappointed in Marjie today. Usually she is leering at Gil and talking about “good size and experience.”

Gil did come in third in the league in 1958….or was it ’59?

Brody looks to be straight on PK in P2. Maybe Gil has a square toe shoe from 1977 for use. Ahh yes, the quarterly apprearence by the fair Marjie. Time to get back in the swing of things with the surly, disheveled, coniving Moon.

Not only will the Irish kid be able to kick, he will be able to smash heads, as well!

I know the basketball players were doing the “tat slap” last year, but judging by Brody’s right hand slipping out of P2 onto Marjie in P1, they might have to rename the slap this year.

Brody is using the outside of his foot to kick—now that’s just showing off. Hard to generate much lift that way, which explains the trajectory of the ball.

Looking at P1, I’m trying to figure out if Gil didn’t shave close enough this morning to knock off those two pesky legs growing from his chin, or if the team is actually running the old statue of liberty play.

Risk Brody from what?Physical contact? You were 1-8 last year. Brody wasn’t exactly getting a lot of work, Gil. My former high school has had 5 coaches in 6 years. And 3 victories. This is after twenty years or so of a low-pressure Gil. I assume Terry will split the uprights on the kickoff.

A kickoff specialist? Can a 1-8 team really afford such a luxury?

..best kicker in the Valley? What did I miss? How many attempts did Brody even have last year?If your placekicker is one of you only highlights, it’s gonna be a long year! Gil must be channeling Abe Gibron circa 1974.(Bears fans, you know what I mean!!!)

The new kid will kick off right to the goal line, sprint down the field, hit the ball carrier on the 10, tear off his head, do business down his neck, pick the ball up and dive in for the TD. Miford will win every game by a shutout, and then forfeit all games because the kid is somehow not a legitimate student. Marjie will console Gil in a threesome with Mimi, later joined by Coach Kaz, hot Molly, Marty and the poolboy for a little adult fun in MILFord. Please, LET"S GET TO FOOTBALL!!Our third game is Friday night, and playoffs start in 5 weeks.

The people of Milford do not particularly care if their teams win.
