Soooo, I guess political cartoons do not get drawn weeks ahead of time. What is really sad is that Akin is a member of congress. Welcome to the southern school of biology. Time to abort Akin.

While this is true, you don’t hear any feminist say that Miss Egg can tell the diffeence between good Mr. Seed and bad Mr. Seed.

Could you 1) name one of these “feminists” and 2) tell us which Senate seat they’re running for?

    Trivia question 4U:

Last year, Rep Todd Akin introduced a bill, H.R. 3,, which stipulated that only victims of forcible rape. ( Which was not defined in the legislation ) would qualify for federally funded abortions.

    Who was his co-sponsor?

The feminist who said that back in the 70s was not a sitting member of congress.

Leftie Woopie Goldberg says it depends if it’s a " Rape, Rape", but nobody gets their panties in a bunch over that. Wonder why?

You’ve really got to wonder. When even other Republicans are horrified by his comments, we can always rely on our little band of trolls (both male and female) to defendthis kind of statement because “He’s a Republican and we are NEVER wrong.”

It’s always a shock to hear such things from supposedly educated people — although it shouldn’t be at my age. In school 40 years ago, a professor advised our class, “Girls, if you’re ever raped, just relax and enjoy it. It will hurt less that way.” There was complete silence for about fifteen seconds. Then one brave young woman called out, “And as for yourself, Dr. M., if you ever go to prison and get raped, just relax and enjoy it.”

“@ LONECAT: This is following group of sponsors for HR 3”-HR 3??? THREE?-And I think HR 1 was a procedural rule bill. And I think HR 2 was a repeal of ACA (first of 33 or so)-So an anti-abortion bill was the number three bill passed by Republicans. Yet another example of their laser-like focus and jobs, jobs, jobs.-Hmmm, the only distance I see between Akin and Ryan is alphabetical.
