The good part is those under 55 can start planning ahead to not be able to afford health insurance, and at the rate Mitt and friends have sent jobs overseas, without a job!!
Yeah, nothing so “loaded” as asking a candidate to be specific about his plans before voting for him. Next thing youkknow they’ll start looking at his past performance.
Today, someone is going to bet dollars that another currency- euro, yen, pound- is going to change in value. His/Her money will be increased or decreased based on the decision making process that went into that bet. Numbers will fly through computers and phone lines and paper will be signed and filed. No food will be grown. No reservoirs filled. No ‘things’ manufactored by working hands will be produced. Unless someone sees a profit and decides to buy something ‘useful’ instead of re-investing/gambling, no one benefits from the actions of the day except a very elect few. It certainly won’t be a retired couple whose pension was lost when the company providing the pension went bankrupt. Romney said just a few months ago that he still feels the president was wrong to bail out GM and Chrysler. Yet if they had gone under, they would have been able to restructure THEIR pension obligations as United did. As I look at this cartoon, I feel I know the old couple standing on the stoop…and am not far from being there with them. Respectfully,C.
First, its closer to 700 billion (then again, if your going to lie about the money, why not lie about the amount)Second, Obamacare SAVES the 716 billion from medicare. Did you even glance at the letter from the CBO to house speaker oompa loompa?Third, Check out the romney plan. His cuts will result in 2 trillion being cut from medicare by 2022. TWO TRILLION.
The deadly enemy is not to be found overseas. We can pick a fight with some starved desperate sand bunnies but as soon as we leave they’ll go back to killing each other. Does anyone still believe our votes will be counted?
“The Money Side Of The Street” (With apologies to McHugh and Fields)
First Verses1a. Grab your forms, have the cell well charged,It’s time to call some doctors. For you, health care’s not as sweetAs on the money side of the street.
1b. Does your heart go patter-pit?Gee, it might need looking after.Too bad you’re not eliteAs on the money side of the street.
REFRAIN:Back when I had my good health,I didn’t fret much ‘bout wealth. Now both were taken by stealth. This rube has sure been screwed.
Second Verses2a. Don’t we wish you had it madeLike the Congress and the Senate?Their health care’s as completeAs on the money side of the street.
2b. But don’t fall for Obama’s plan, Becoming Socialist and Fascist.Don’t fall for that deceit!Says the money side of the street.
REFRAIN here
Third Verses3a. I read my bank statement with shock,The interest is so paltry.Oh to have a nice spreadsheetAs on the money side of the street.
3b. The One-Percent complain,They need to keep their well-earned tax breaks.Oh, to have a life replete,As on the money side of the street.
REFRAIN here
Fourth Verses4a. Big Bankers roll in hoarded cash,Hedge funders bathe in filthy lucre,Would your s—- should smell as sweetAs on the money side of the street!
4b. If the financial world goes splat,Where do we 99s take shelter? You bet they’ve doomsday beatOn the money side of the street.
REFRAIN here
End Verses5a. Be aware that Life goes on,Although your health and wealth might waver,Take this solace: Life’s still neatOn the money side of some street.
5b. Your life will never be as sweetAs for those on the money side of the street.
After the $700 billion O is taking from Medicare, there won’t be many Doctors, hospitals, or insurers ready to deal with it. Seniors will really be up against it, no matter what O says.
Old Pat and the Dems scaring the elderly again. If you guys are gonna lie, why not just show Republicans lining up old people in front of a firing squad? Or has that toon already been done?
Phil Gramm is the brain trust of Mitt’s economy. The same Phil Gramm of “Gram-Leach-Bliley Act” fame, that deregulated the banks and gave us the mortgage crisis. It runs in the family though, his wife, Wendy, is responsible for the “Enron Loophole.” Of course she left government work as soon as it passed to take a job with Enron. But don’t say anything or else Phil will call you a “nation of whiners.”
Ryan wants to throw seniors under the bus by ending medicare AND social security. Mitt wants to keep all the fat and waste in both at the expense of higher taxes for the middle class. Is that what you really want? The “nightmare” team in the White House? Think before you vote this November. Your future is at stake.
^Much better than under Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43. The rich DID grow richer on Ponzi products, and debt soared. It was $13 trillion when Obama took over, went up because of “bush leftovers”, but may stabilize, if Republicans will get back to work, and actually work FOR America, instead of their corporate wranglers.
Mitt and Paul look like the people in a small town that OWN everything, the real estate agency, are the town government, run the town hospital, and the funeral home.
BOTTOM LINE: The would take over everything, reap it for the top 1% of this country, and then make everyone pay for it until they die. It’s called indentured servitude, and that’s what Romney and Ryan are all about. If you aren’t in the top 1%, it won’t matter if you are a Republican, you will pay for their tax cuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what the GOP want for the future. A few rich donors and slaves. As far as the rest of us, they hope we just die off from lack medical care.
