Good morning, Vagabonds. Saturday I did some more arranging of the things in my room – a quiet day. Today I’m going to a DVD show where people show and sell their DVDs and VHS tapes. I’ve already arranged to buy $258 worth of DVDs to give to all my relatives as Chanukah gifts.

Morning, Vagabonds! We didn’t get the hot water heater. There are so many variables to look at. And when my wife and I spend that much money, we don’t make quick decisions. We spend some time thinking about it.

Hi, Ho, Vagabonds..Froggy, I mean foggy this morning..The kind of water heater depends on your utilities. We have a gas stove so a gas water heater was best for us, only one tank of gas for both. If you have an electric stove, well that’s the idea, good luck with that..Arye, you’ve got your shoping done, but I ain’t, better shake my tail..Big hi to all Vagabonds..ttfn

Good morning….I read about an author appearance in today’s paper for a book I hadn’t yet heard of – “Vodou Saints” by Dr. Arthur Fournier. While to event is too far away, at the famed Books & Books store in Coral Gables (Miami) the book looked interesting. However, in trying to find a copy on Amazon, it appears that it is only available as an ebook. As I prefer to read paper pages, I was dismayed…is this a new trend? @DAVID: I agree with you about not making quick decisions about buying expensive items. I never let myself be pushed into buying something, especially by aggressive salesmen who pretend to keep lowering the price.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Looks like another quiet day in paradise here. Off to church in about a half hour and then who knows about the rest of the day. I spent most of the afternoon yesterday in a “craft session” with the older ladies at my church. We were making the decorations for our annual Christmas tea. There were so many differing tasks to do that even the craft “challenged” like me could do some part of it.

I can not believe that I forgot to submit again. I got here late, after Arge. Even opologized for being late because of a long winded phone caller. (I hate to hang up on friends.)>>>>>> Anyway…. Good day, Vagabonds. At least I woke up again.

    Good Afternoon, Village,

Slept in until 9:30!!!!!!! Good grief! My whole day is already gone!

We’re having the neighbors in next Saturday, so I just planned my menu………Beef stew in bread bowls, orange glazed carrots, mashed potatoes, and for appetizers…….deviled eggs, bacon wrapped sweet sausages, and homemade salsa with chips. Two of the gals will be bringing desserts. Most of this can be made the day before, and on Saturday I’ll only have a few things to do. :)))

Thanks for all your advice about authors. I knew I’d get lots of information from y’all.
