Um, no, Rob, let’s talk about this girl thing…..Come on, I bet Satchel has more dates than you. Man, I can’t believe that Darby doesn’t use the idea more. Can you imagine a chick getting a good look at this household? Ha!

Now that I know Bucky is a Yankee fan, I commend his intelligence and good taste.I forgive Rob for being a Sox fan because he loves animals and Stephen King because he is a good writer and because there is no accounting for bad taste!

Darby hasn’t said it directly, but I believe he has hinted all along that Rob is gay.

Rob has dated girls but somehow Bucky always seems to mess things up. Yankee and Red Sox fans deserve each other, most arrogant fans ever with the Sox fans having little reason to be arrogant.

Rob had several dates in the early days but Bucky and Satchel managed to sabotage most of his dates (Bucky mostly). I’m just re-reading one of the old books which is full of classics :-)

I live in new york, and that stupid Sox vs Yankee feud continues to confound and annoy the crap out of me to this day.

Them Danged Yankees stole Granderson from the Tigers, now they have Ichiro, and I hate Ichiro! He’s too dang good. Speaking of the Twins, I used to hate Harmon Killebrew when came to town and kicked our butts, too………

I forgave Stephen King for being a Red Sox fan once I read his “Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon”, a book that grabs you and doesn’t let go.Thanks for that one, Mr. King.

Poor Rob. Initially he went steady with a woman based on Darby’s RL girlfriend, but that got awkward for them, so he’ll probably never have a girlfriend again. And now he gets suspected of homosexuality because of that lack.

I vaguely recall Rob going on a date. With someone who liked dogs and cats. Something about Bucky getting attached? Have I recalled correctly?

Rob and Bucky have had some pretty funny threads going on this Red Sox/Yankees thing in the past.

I think Rob can’t get a girlfriend mostly because of Bucky. See the first Get Fuzzy comic strips when Rob was trying to date. It was hilarious.
