From what I can understand, which is not much, if asteroids and such did not strike Earth after it cooled down, there would not be any life on Earth since te heat of forming it would sterilize the planet. Does that mean that all life on Earth is alien to the planet?

I have heard many folks observe that Romney does not seem to be of planet Earth. He doesn’t seem to express himself as an earthling. He refers to sport, rather than sports. He doesn’t know what a doughnut is, it is a tasty chocolate thing. He comments on the size of trees as being just the right size, etc He often insists on singing even though he is tone deaf.

Obama supported the Dream Act, which involves the children of illegals, who were brought here as young kids through no fault of their own. Even in their case, there are conditions for them to stay here.

We didn’t kill Osama Bin Laden on Bush’s watch. Bush got to the point where he said he didn’t know where he was and he didn’t care. We got him on Obama’s watch. It was done surgically, with precise detail. He was buried at sea. No one can go to a place and mourn for him. It was a wonderful thing.

I consider Obama to be not a hawk or dove, but a wise owl. He uses force when it is needed. There are many liberals who think he is too tough, so he gets it from both sides. The use of drones has been very controversial indeed.

Did he affirm or fight for what? I can’t answer your question without context. Obama has to deal with the gridlock of Congress. He does not have a clear majority as I have stated in the past. Even when he did have 60 votes in the Senate, many of the Democratic votes were Blue Dogs, not to be counted on. You must feel very miserable about the world if you think that the Dems and the GOP are the same. I don’t share this view at all. Obama isn’t perfect but he is a far better alternative to Romney.

It wasn’t used much by Carter, but Reagan maximized it, as did GWH, and W. The destructive portion was allowing 25% of Political Appointees at high levels in agencies, to be converted to Civll Service every year. THAT was the destruction that led to appointees staying on permanently, and running agencies, into the ground.

So, you are saying in the top half of your rather long post that the deportations under Obama have almost exceeded those of Bush in his entire 8 years in office. In the 2nd half of your post, you are pointing to projections, which are not the same as what has in fact happened.

Ok, I understand that is your point of view. I think he is doing the best he can and he has tons of obstructionists in his way. I don’t think it is as easy as you seem to think. I don’t know where you live, but I can tell you that here in GOP land I appreciate him a bit more than some other Americans who might live in a more liberal area in the country. Getting a Democrat in office at all is a heavy lift here in Kansas, so I feel that I have some idea of what he is up against. Our KC Congressman Cleaver was actually spat upon by someone in DC while he was on his way to vote for the Affordable Care Act. He was undaunted of course and went on to vote as he wanted to vote. The other side is rather barbaric in their approach. We aren’t dealing with the Rockefellers and Teddy Roosevelts of old anymore. I believe Obama is doing the best he can but he doesn’t walk on water.
