I’m with you, Doc.Gymnastics are one of my favorite events to watch … womens or mens. I watched the men on the still rings the other night, and swore I could feel my shoulders dislocating as I watched.

I remember watching gymnastics when I was a kid. The female gymnasts all had womanly figures, everything was slowly paced and there were no gravity defying leaps. It bore no resemblance at all to what you see nowadays, it looked like a completely different sport.

The gymnasts always amaze me. I think that, pound for pound, they are the strongest athletes. Watching the ladies on the balance beam is a marvel. I can’t even walk on one, let alone do flips.

There’s that passion we never get to see, but lucky Arlo sees behind closed doors.

USAGMSGT: They may call themselves that, but for all-around, accounting for modern assistance like training and diet (not to mention chemical enhancements), none have beat Jim Thorpe and Mildred (Babe) Dicrikson Zaharis.

win: They had no entries. Even though their judo and track entries didn’t win, the crowd was a lot less bigoted than you and gave them a proper loud and long cheer.

Real sports are usually too boring unless I personally know a person who’s playing. I prefer pro wrestling or Dragonball. They get to use moves that are WAY better than real life.
