I dunno, Nate’s mom is (as far as i can tell) never seen in the strip, and almost never mentioned. I think it would kinda mess up the strip to bring her back. Marty is a bachelor, and and the strip would never be the same if that changed.

This is the first time I’m this late to comment as Snoopster. The latest is now afternoon, now i comment at dinner. anyways, Nate’s got to shop himself, but then again, he did so some time ago, and wasnt trusted ever since. @plus4: They got divorced, as shown in a 1997 mother’s day comic strip. Shows why Nate’s mom wasn’t there, though it would be nice to see Nate’s mom in a special appearence, Mr Peirce. Like sometime during summer or the holidays.
