^As a general said once, “Nuts!”. “Free” isn’t “free” in the case of obtaining “photo I.D.”, and while planes require it, I guy alcohol and tobacco all the time without I.D.. Now if your “status” is questionable? Maybe some form of I.D. will be required. If a person is REGISTERED to vote, that should suffice. “Voter I.D.” is an effort to keep registered voters, from VOTING! period.

“…a free ID will be provided.” Yes if you can match your states requirements which isn’t always easy. But do tell us more about illegal voters stealing recent elections, remember actual facts count extra!

    1. Portraying Cheney as Darth Vader was an INSULT! to Darth Vader.2. I’m 68, look it, and don’t get asked for I.D. when buying wine or tobacco. At 50, I DID get asked for I.D. to buy cigarettes, and was quite flattered! (well over 18)3. My son is 33 and could pass for around 20, so can see asking him for I.D.4. Had to bring in my passport last time I renewed my drivers license, kinda’ silly after having one for 30 years.5. It is “conservatives” making the push for CITIZENS to “show their papers” every time they make a move, and THEY are stupid enough to call “liberals” “Marxist” or “Stalinist”?6. All hail the paranoids! MItt is YOUR GUY!

Isn’t some form of identification required to get welfare benefits?

Well, of course, it’s conservatives asking citizens to show their papers, especially at the voting booth… because most of the dead voters vote for the liberal candidate. A fine old tradition…
