Reminds me of when I had my collie about 10 years ago, I would have to use her as a pillow if there was a thunderstorm, it was the only way to claim her down.

Don’t you think you should have a blanket, Red?

I have to admit, it does look much more comfortable!

I used to live in a flat that was open plan, no central heating. single bed . my doggie ALWAYS slept with me, He was warm I was warm . You miss those moments when they have gone.

Now that is story telling! Beautifully done. Love it. So sweet! And I’m a little envious…

Our dog can’t even be in the room with us. (he growls at the husband when he comes in the room). :( He used to sleep beside me on the floor, never in the bed, now he sleeps by himself in the the living room on his dog bed.

My boxer usually sleeps wtih us, but when it’s hot she loves to have her own space. Maybe that’s why Rover is sleeping on the floor this time? I sure miss cuddling my girl through the night, just like Red!

They look so warm…

Our Dachshund snores so he gets to be outside or in the bathroom alone. He loves the Texas winters with his 90 W spot light warming his bed. (no CFL allowed)
