Ludwig is the most cat-like cat in comicdom but this is extremely uncat-like

The housecat is an exception. Most cat species have no problem with water and jungle species from ocelot to tiger positively enjoy a swim.

Anyone seen the video of the Mama lion protecting her babies from the crocodile? She jumped right in and wrapped it up to keep its mouth closed – in the river.

It’s a good day to go swimming, that’s for sure.

One of my cats hates water and will run from the slightest sprinkle. The other one will get in the shower with me. Go figure.

Not all house cats hate water. I have one that will stay outside during a rain and he has even gotten in the tub with me, but that’s a little too warm for him. And yes, I’ve seen him sleep in an inch or two of water.

Looks like everyone missed the point on this one. There were multiple panels of Ludwig sneaking up on the fountain and Arlo saying he’s really good means he was able to actually sneak into the fountain without the birds flying away.

With the heat and drought we have been having over much of the contiguous 48 this summer, even a cat can be excused for wanting to cool off.
