This entire sickening situation was covered up to protect the football program. You cannot separate the two,the football program should suffer the ultimate penalty.Only the “death penalty” for the football program will send a stong enough message to prevent further abuses.

America likes “brutal sports” Clark. Especially football. I went to a college that had a great basketball team and it helped support a lot of academic and non athletic programs. It was an excellent “place of learning” as well as supporting many athletic activities.

It sounds like too many people are seeing what happened to the children, like an adult male forcing himself on a 10 year old child (and other children) is an allowable sacrafice so that they may enjoy their game. Isn’t this just “human sacrafice”? Shut down the whole thing. There is no excuse for looking the other way while an adult rapes children in front of you. I’m really surprised that no one is blaming the children—-yet. Anyone who tries to supress this story or back the people who are part of the crimes should joint them all in prison. Then they can find out what it is like to have a man’s “affections” forced into them.

These guys who didn’t protect the kids while the monster was hurting them are all guilty. In the aBible Jesus said, something like it’s better to have a milling stone hanging on you than hurt a child. Sex abuse hurts children all their lives. Get rid of the football program and toss the look-the-other-way men in jail too.

The football program SHOULD NOT BE SHUT DOWN! Those boys on the team HAD NOTHING to do with this! BILL O’BRIAN HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS! THIS IS AFTER SANDUSKY, ALL ON JOE SECOND FOREMOST BECAUSE, TRUST ME, HE RAN PENN STATE! The President, the Board of Trustees, the Athletic Director, the Security Police, ALL followed what Joe said! Check it out, in 2007, SIX of his BEST players got arrested for BATTERY (beating people up!), He got them released into his custody, and something like 2 weeks later, they were back playing. They SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN JAIL!

No, this is on everyone who helped cover up the abuse and everyone who participates in and advances the mentality that those who are good at sports are above the rules. Penn State is but one of a long line of collegiate sports scandals.

I don’t believe, the football program should be shut down, however every person involved in the cover-up should be brought up on charges of child endangerment. Especially that low life that walked in on Sandusky in the shower with a kid and left him there to go home and talk it over with his Dad.
