Is there a proximate cause I don’t know about, or is this just youthful exuberance? (“Hard to see with my eyes blunked out like this!” “Arf! I mean, Help!”)

Just watch out for a red headed kid in a red dress with a scruffy mutt. That cutesy, poor- little- me, stuff is just an act. She’ll grow up and work in Playboy.

Though I’ve never seen what is being referenced, my fav take on it is from the movie Dave, starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver.

Annie Warbucks, aka Lil’ Orphan Annie. “Tomorrow, tomorrow” quotes a song from the musical Annie…or am I being too literal and missing the irony here? ;c)

I got it! It’s Little Orphan Annie in her Twilight years.

I’ll still take Little Annie Fanny , any day.
