I still don’t understand why Conservatives want their tax money to go to paying for Emergency Medical Care for those unwilling by buy Health Insurance.I would MUCH rather have everybody paying their own way.Single payer would be better, but buying Health Insurance means that I don’t have to pay for THEM through MY taxes.AND it supports Job Growth in the Insurance Industry.Double Win.
I wonder what it will take to bring us back together as a nation? Regardless of who wins this November, we are so entrenched in this partisan attitude that I don’t see how we will ever come together to work through some of America’s most challenging issues. None of the politicians would advocate the bi-partisan work in Bowles – Simpson, and that is the closest thing we have come to a real bi – partisan effort at solutions. It’s really scary folks and the clock is ticking, louder and louder all the time.
You do realize that well before passage of the ACA, ANYONE could walk in to a Hospital Emergency Room and get treatment for ANY condition whether they were able to pay or not.This came out of OUR TAXES.More people BUYING Health Insurance means FEWER people getting taxpayer funded free health care at the Emergency Room.How is having more people paying their own way socialism?
