You would think that, of all people, Charlie Brown would be the LAST person to pick on Pig-Pen. (Oh, and Packer12, in one strip it showed Pig-Pen all cleaned up, just standing still, then…wait for it…WHAM! Instant dirty!)

Yes, the good ol’ days. I did stuff like that too, when I was a kid. If he went to those places unattended these days, someone would have reported his parents to Social Services.

Sherlock Brown indeed. What we forget is that in real life, Pig-Pen would smell like he looks. This might be off-putting.

I like Pigpen. He is very down to earth person. Have you ever heard him say an unkind word about someone? Does he insult anyone? .The people that run their vehicles through mud have little to point fingers.

Charlie Brown, you thought you had a sad life.

Brown Charlie is such a wise guy. He deserved to be disliked. Look how he treated poor PP.

Pigpen pretty much described himself as a “dirt magnet.” There were several strips in which he had been cleaned up and as he walked along – or even just stood in one place – he got dirtier and dirtier.

Pig-Pen: You’re a big disgrace;you’ve got mud on your face! (And all over your body, clothes, and shoes.)

We have a pretty white cat named Pippin. She is a princess who loves to roll in the dirt. That is when we call her Pig Pen!

Gawd, I work with somebody like this. AND they have the accompanying smell to boot.
