That’s a REALLY effective “shield of boringness”!

The deerstalker hat disguise is not working for Marigold.

At least now we know for certain that other people can see Marigold. Love that shield of boringness!

Nothing distinctive about a stupid butt. I’d worry more about a butt that could think.

So does the shield of boringness make people not see unicorns? or does it make them not care about unicorns? Any how nice hat! I love it!

I hope the hat belongs to Marigold. I’d be a little annoyed if it was my hat she tore that hole through.

I think we saw Dakota once before, in a classroom. I’m too blasted lazy to backtrack.

According to the original stories, Sherlock Holmes only wore a deerstalker cap and riding coat on two occasions. But for some reason they become synonymous with the character…

    Go fig.

I have no idea how you manage it Dana, but I so easily can ‘hear’ inflections, tones, etc., in your characters’ voices. Like in this last panel, I can so easily ‘hear’ the rising tone and the incredulity of Dakota’s voice. Amazing!

The calabash is from actor William Gillette; it’s the easiest kind of pipe to hold in your mouth with your hands free. The out-of-place deerstalker cap is his doing, too, and so is the line, “Elementary, my dear Watson”. He played the role over 1300 times on stage.
