Obama doesn’t really have to change the laws. All he has to do is let the Republicans open their mouths and spout out all their prejudices.

“Only if the Hispanics actually bother to obey the laws, instead of committing crimes. Which sadly will not happen.”-So, Hispanics are all a bunch of law-flouting criminals? You’ve just defined racism Mr. Bunker.

The few that this ruling affects are youngsters who entered the country before they were 16, have been in the country for 5 years or more, and that have no other legal problems. There are a few down here in Florida that were brought here by their parents when infants, and didn’t realize that they WEREN’T born here until they got the deportation notice, just before they graduated from high school, one as a valedictorian.

Zoid is an unrepentant, proud racist. Anyone here surprised? According to The Atlantic, hispanic crime rates are about the same as for the general population. I tend to trust journalists more than conservative hate-mongers when it comes to statistics. And Romney has only himself and his party to blame for losing the Hispanic vote. The biggest laugh was when he said Obama’s move would make it harder to get real reform passed. Since when has he ever been interested in any immigration reform?

    1. no president has constitutional authority to re-write laws passed by congress that have not been ruled in court to be unconstitutional.

2.this AMNESTY covers any ILLEGAL ALIEN who is age 30 or under in 2012. That is a much larger number than Obama’s deceptive language states.

3.the “new rule” is uncheckable….therefore it is unenforceable in any law-respecting method.

4.ID is apparently exceedingly easy to forge….no government agency has the time, personnel or money to try to enforce the president’s end-run around federal laws on the books….

5.Obama said in the beginning of his term that his administration would not enforce certain laws….and this “new rule” is a mere “fig leaf” over violation of the U.S. Constitution he swore to uphold.

Obama did a great thing. These kids were brought here while quite young. Most have never even visited Mexico. They are Americans in every way but one. To send them away would be like sending them into exile. Any criminal will be deported, but these are not immigrants, they live here. Most will become good solid citizens. having them here benefits our economy. These are not a bunch of old alcoholics, nothing like that. Most are just good kids who don’t want to leave home.

Is Obama going to break up familes with parents older than 16 or 30?It does not matter the age of the ILLEGAL…..illegal is illegal. There are rules that should be followed to become a Legal citizen. There are many aliens lined up waiting to go through the process to become Legal citizens.Obama and air-headed opinion would reward selected lawbreaking families who brought children into the USA, and who believes the Obama-ites would break up families to keep illegals age 30 and under?????Is Obeying the Law now totally “thrown under politicians’ bus”?

80,000 factories closed, 750,000 jobs a month lost. How did anyone except the rich make “advances”?

Administrative DEFERMENT, NOT an “amnesty”. The other factor going on now is the House, in numerous committees working to strip Executive branch authority by legislating micro-management of agencies, while they complain any time Obama uses Constitutional authority. “W” routinely overstepped the bounds of his authority, but that was “okey dokey” with the right. What will they do if they DO (hopefully not!) get Mittens in authority with the current House and Senate? Well, disaster would be understatement, but, what about the laws they’re changing now??

Obama is hampering the recovery? Do you follow the news? Europe has attempted to contend with the recession through austerity. The US has tried stimulating the economy. Who is doing better, Europe or the US?
