I still think it looks more like George Jetson, which is quite fitting since “The Jetsons” is the cartoon equivalent of “Family Circus.”

Surely I’m not the first poster to point out that crocodiles, not being mammals, don’t have any hair to begin with. (They’re also not bipeds or a number of other things depicted in this comic, but that’s another matter.) What the lady croc has on top must be a removable hairpiece.

Ah yes, the use of the Family Circus strip, it does occur to me that Stephan was good friends with Bil Keane who was the creator of the comic, he had sadly passed away last November 8th though at the age of 89.
