    Also depends partially on how old they were when they were “altered” (“You call it fixed? I wasn’t broken!”). If a shelter dog is caught at 6 years old and then fixed they’re probably not gonna stop!

    Dogs often hump as a dominance act. Not necessarily aggressive just dominant. Had a dog, neutered at 6 months, would hump any other dog that would let him including a Borzoi more than twice his size.

    What is really funny is watching female dogs hump anything from stuffed animals to their male counterparts. I breed mid sized pomeranians and see it all the time.
