    I think I’d rather do that with peanut butter than actually eat it.

    Good Morning, Tribe.

    Well, poodles have to be good for SOMETHING…I’ll have waffles with honey and peanut butter, lots of tea, and a German Chocolate Cake to share at work; one of my cashiers is moving to a different leisure centre next week.

    Oops! Forgot the need for a one-eighth-serving of Kitty’s platter for our own little wildcat, please (who is currently snoring lustiliy in the armchair beside me). Yes, I know it’s supposed to be for Katrina’s Kitty, but Emo fancies himself a huge, sleek, black hunter. And he may not weigh 400 lbs yet, but he’s working on it. Thanks, Grog!

    Good Morning, Tribe and all!

    +++++

    I’d prefer Poodle Art if it actually looked like art?

    Sojo, it’s hard to tell when the latest or earliest snowfall record is here—we’ve had snow recorded in every month. So when does the season begin or end????

    I wonder about that record, they seem to be forgetting something. In the 1800’s there was snow on June 2 or July 2. It covered Kansas with 4" in the west to 2" in the east, the result of a large volcano somewhere. Would that be a late or early snowfall? I have tried to check on it but can’t find it. It was in a book put out by the extension service (?) in the late 1930’s (?) for farmers. It showed the average temperature, rain fall, etc. for every county and month with average first and last freezes for every county, etc. for every year of record observations etc.. Unfortunately I no longer have it.

    1816 was the “Year Without a Summer” due to the eruption of Mt. Tambora in 1815 (April 10), but that seems too early. 1884 would have been affected by the eruption at Krakatau in 1883.
