Mom: Miss Bliss sent a note with the invitations thanking all the parents in advance for volunteering to help at the picnic. And a guidebook called Volunteering Opportunities, with sections of food, games, cleanup and security detail. The last time I got an invitation like this I ended up wearing a bile-green brides-maid's gown. BLEAH. Alice: So can I wear my party dress to the picnic?
