Oh man. Well there goes Petey. Now it’s up to Wally, Holly and Marx (and Marx only partially counts since he’s busy with Tarot Solitaire). Good luck with that stopping her thing, Wally!

Well, it has me stopped. Not a clue. The explosion of the ship will destroy the TS’s and anyone around it. Yes? Just how far can Petey get in less than 10 minutes now? It will have to be far….. the graphics show how near the ship is . To close to get far. Good cliff hanger Aaron.Blessed Be

One down. 2 to go.Threats as Flask sees them:Petey – Able to disable the ship if he tries quickly enough.Linda – May throw up and dirty her shoes. The Transporter – Not a threat unless she’s directly under it.Marx – Not a clue. Best left alone unperturbed.Wally – May try to stun her with the raygun again.Holly – May bore her to sleep.Consensus: Biggest threats are Petey and Holly. Dispose or distract them immediately.

Interesting how big Petey’s propeller gets in panel 2. Maybe it’s kicking in like a car radiator fan? He does seem rather hot-headed at the moment. Direct contrast to Nero there, in the background.

Hey gang, another chance to show GoComics your Endtown love!GoComics has hit 15,000 likes on Facebook, so they’re doing a pointless giveaway of some irrelevant art (unless you like the Dinette Set, in which case you have my sympathies). The contest ends Thursday, and to enter you just have to leave a comment saying which strip you’d like to see animated. Please only suggest ONE strip to avoid confusing things. Obviously, I would prefer that it be Endtown, but it’s your vote, and you’ll have to live with your conscience afterward. It’s not likely that GoComics would actually front the money to animate ANYTHING, but we can dream.

I keep going back to 3/8/12 (Flask’s only recorded direct interaction with AM). That 4th panel portends something, I’m just not sure what. The simple facts here are that, given the circumstances as they are portrayed, there is really nothing (that we know of) that Wally can do at this point. Maybe if he stopped shouting and started channeling his inner McGyver he might come up with something, but that doesn’t seem likely to happen given the emotion of the moment. There is a way out of this, even if the facts according to Flask are true, but I get the feeling it lies with AM somehow. I’ve had a feeling ever since that Mar 8 strip that these two were headed for a confrontation of some sort. Well, the weekend’s here, but Monday’s a commin’…

The fact that AM is not getting rustled up in all the commotion, seems to tell me that he still knows more than he’s letting on. I think that the ship may have some sort of self preservation program that won’t let anything happen to it??

There is logic to Flask’s words (the best manipulators always use facts and logic, just not all of them). Petey is a logical machine still. He acts. He has made his choice, and Wally and Holly need to make theirs. Great cliffhanger!

And to think I used to hate Monday’s. I agree. I don’t think AM is just for comic relief. I do think he has more to him than Howdy Doody meets Dr. Who.

Again and again, Wally get a clue, your trying to save the people that are commited to killing you. Ivory tower nonsense.

so I know we can see the ship over the outpost but what happened to the “cloaking” dittos that AM said he had for the ship? Surely they didn’t just leave for no apparent reason? Is he going to make another ship so the TSers don’t know which one to shoot? Or to hide the real one and blow up the fake one? I can’t wait until Monday………

Noticing Petey’s propellers. His top propeller gets larger when he revvs it up? and then maybe it’s going too fast to see?Mabe the propeller at his feet rests against his bottom when he’s not using it, or could his wheels turn sideways and become propellers? He has a plan, but don’t have a clue what he has to do or thinks he has to.

Did anyone read my note yesterday about HE being the AI and not Petey, and Flask was giving Petey and Marx a secret message to trick the AI with dittos into thinking “all that HE knows” is actually happening?

I’m wondering if maybe someone’s cloaking my comments lately.

I am almost thinking that Marx’s apathy and card play isn’t so much a lack of concern about events, but more that these events are some sort of test of our intrepid crew. I have this stinking suspicion something is ‘rotten in the state of Denmark’ in his apparent abdication of reason.

I’m probably too far down the comments section for everyone to know this, but the Wikipedia AfD nomination for the Endtown article has passed — Endtown’s Wikipedia article has been deleted.

No big deal, though. We have a great strip here, and having no Wikipedia article doesn’t make it any worse.

In fact, I’ve been over to Don Markstein’s Toonopedia just moment ago. Look like it’s being “renovated” right now, so there’s not much to see.

After finished reading all the Endtown stripes and followed a couple of weeks the daily updates I just want to add my opinion that this is probably among the best comics I’ve read. Love it :D.

Jarlidium Press says they received 40 copies of each book today so Aaron will have them at the convention. Those of us who pre-ordered will not have our books shipped until after the 20th!

    From their web site:

“June 2012: Endtown update update! The printer had an equipment failure. It’s fixed now and the books are printed. They have sent some copies via fast shipping, so we will have those at Anthrocon. The rest are following via cheap shipping, which means that preorders won’t ship until at least the 20th, when we’re back from Pittsburgh. We apologize for the delay! You can always find the latest news on our Twitter feed, @jarlidium.”
