I thought Schlitz was no longer sold? But, I looked it up in Wiki and saw that although the recipe was lost and never reformulated. In 2008 it was officially introduced once again but is still not found in the whole market place. You can get in on tap around New Orleans I guess.
The three beers my Dad drank were Hamms, Falstaff, and Schlitz during the 40’s through 70’s.

“Hey, get your cold beer…hey, get your Ballentine beer…” Although for me, it was Pabst Blue Ribbon. My uncle preferred Carling Black Label. We’d occasionally get hold of some Rolling Rock. Classic stuff.
