Funny how the righties all tried to grab on to hapless Rosen’s comments as a “lifeline” for Romney with women voters. Sorry folks, didn’t work.

The only folks who fell for that were voting for Romney anyway. GOP’s desperation is pitiful to see.

A few have pointed out that ‘work’ has dual meanings. One is to labor, to do something constructive. Republicans pretend that is the only definition of work. The second is to hold a paying job, obviously what Hilary Rosen was speaking of. Of course, ‘Working’ in Hilary Rosen’s terms means you are holding TWO jobs – but only getting paid for one – and getting paid less.

While Republicans are pontificating, something they should be aware of is 70% of mothers with children under the age of 18 are in the labor force. That 70% know EXACTLY how little Ann Romney knows about being a working mother.

Rosen wasn’t criticizing Mitt’s wife. She was critizising Mitt for being clueless.. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/hilary-rosen/ann-romney-women_b_1419480.html

“Is it saying that they were shooting for Obama but all they got was Rosen?”

That’s how I read it, both at first glance (before I knew who Rosen was) and now. It’s the equivalent of mounting a minnow on a plaque meant to hold a prize-winning bass.
