As long as it has a subplot with her idiot boyfriend and a couple of his pals bumbling through the woods looking for her while doing flatulence jokes…and her lost puppy…and maybe a talking bug….

NOT a home run, just a triple. To be a home run you need to add the clown feet.

well, the Talking Heads did a song many years ago called “Sax and Violins” so maybe we should be more tolerant.

I got a birthday e-card a couple of years ago “full of sax and violins,” too.I doubt GoodQuestion thinks he made it up…though I dunno, cos I’m always “making up” jokes that I find out are already on bumper stickers or T-shirts.LOL

Does that mean no one can use a pun or joke or comment that has been used once before in the history of the world? No one can ever say “We don’t need no stinkin’ bagers”, or 42, or elephant jokes ever again?…Gosh, that seems kinda harsh…

“Sax and violins” on TV is a golden oldie ( takes one to know one, right? :) Doesn’t anyone else remember Gilda Radner’s Emily Litella doing that bit on Saturday Night Live in the 70s? Miss Emily believed that violins on TV was a good thing, especially for the children, and just could not understand what all the fuss was about. If I am the only one who remembers Emily Litella, well, all I can say is…“Never mind!”
