Petey prefers foods that are colorless and tasteless.So, oatmeal might work. Depends on the preparation.

Exploding oatmeal can,INCOMING! Petey should be aware by now that he’ll never get a moment of peace as long as he lives under the same roof as Alice.

It looks like it drops off. I thought at first he was standing on his bed, but he certainly wouldn’t put up with Alice marching across that!

What’s with Petey’s squared-off jaw in the first panel? Does he always grow a chin when he’s playing the oboe? I guess he should practice more often!

Does oatmeal come in cans in the USofA? I don’t think it does in Canada.
