Back in college I had a friend who loved cats. When she was going through a rough time, I gave her a card with a lovely watercolor of a cat on the front, and the caption, “A cat always knows how you feel.”

On the inside, the card read, “It doesn’t CARE—it just knows how you feel.” She loved it.

Cats are MUCH smarter than dogs. Disney would not have named a cat Goofy.

Smokey Joe is my alarm cat…it I don’t get up after the alarm goes off,he gets in my ear and nuzzles it’ if that doesn’t work..a slight “MEOW” will do the trick. He knows his Daddy has go to work to ensure clean litter and fresh food. Funny thing, he doesn’t disturb me on Saturday…and on Sunday, he makes sure I’m up for Sunday School and Church!!

I’ve always held that if cats had opposable thumbs, they would contest ruling the world with the squirrels, who do.

@Catman5169 I wish our cat was like Smokey Joe, he’s bellyaching more night than not, or knocking things off tables in our bedroom..The one thing on the days I have to be up by 4AM, he’s trying to push me out of the way so he can have my spot on the bed.

My cat Bugs thinks I have to get up with the sun, ignore him long enough and he goes away, to return an hour later.
