The Volt was planned, designed, and marketed under Bush. Why do cons keep blaming Obama for it? Oh, yeah. Dumb question.

Obama has the push on for the independence from oil.Hence, that energy policy is, and will, drive gas prices up, to the point that the Volt will be the only auto option affordable to drive.Obamacare stresses going from a sickness healthcare, to a wellness healthcare. Hence the health system forceing the individual to an overly healthy diet, or the premiums would be higher. Also, forced exercise.A health system here in Ohio already stated this as part of Obamacare.

You sure are pulling overestimated numbers out of your nether regions in a truly typical partisan fashion. Please provide the basis for your “trillion dollar bailouts.”And although $527 Million was wasted on Solyndra, that’s nothing compared to the amount used to subsidize big oil companies, farmers, loggers, ranchers, Boeing, and lots of other pet projects of the republicans.

.“Just start WW3 and kill us all now.”That’s the republican philosophy.

Right. If Obamacare is found to be Constitutional (which it is NOT), then what’s to stop the government from mandating that we do everything in this cartoon and more? Apparently, to liberal lawmakers, we’re too stupid to take care of ourselves, but we’re “smart” enough to elect them???

The fuss about the “individual mandate” is a prime example of the hyper-partisanship of republicans, and a kind of hypocrisy that verges on insanity. The “individual mandate” was originally proposed and supported by republicans, and was used to counter the universal health care plan of Clinton. -————————————————————————————————-

http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/health-care-provision-at-center-of-supreme-court-debate-was-a-republican-idea/2012/03/25/gIQAoCHocS_story_1.html-—————————————————————————————————Obama adopted it to get bi-partisan support for his plan. Now, suddenly, it’s a case of liberals and big government. What a laugh. Of course it’s unconstitutional, but it’s just another case of republican intrusion into people’s lives.

MX missile, Grenada, Panama, Afghanistan (creating the Taliban, then wars), Iraq, V-22, F-22, mortgage crisis through deregulation, credit card ripoffs, two decades of inflation and debt increases, corporate failures while CEOs walk off with “golden parachutes”, Katrina, eliminating ALL envrionmental laws, failure to collect royalties on TAXPAYER’’s oil in the Gulf and on land, yup, that “Reaganomics” and “Republican leadership” under Mitt, or Santorum, or Newt, is something we really need.

How exactly do higher fuel standards harm you? “Thirteen auto manufacturers and the United Auto Workers union are in favor of the plan,[to increase epa fuel mileage standards] including Chrysler, Hyundai and the Ford Motor Company.-——————————————————————-http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2012/01/24/BA001MTTNP.DTL-—————————————————————————-And as fuel economy increases, you actually save money over the life of your car, even though it costs more to purchase it initially. If you’re morally opposed to saving money, because of your religion or whatever, you can always just burn your cash in your fireplace.

Apparently you can’t see the point, because you only consider your own opinions, and your own “tax dollars.”You only see the side of any issue that you want to see and ignore facts you don’t like. You are opposed to subsidies for electric cars, which is fair enough, but some people are equally opposed to subsidies for big oil and other profitable industries. My objection to subsidies is proportional to the size of the subsidy, and doesn’t depend on partisan hypocrisy.
