    It’s already been discussed.

But is the photon torpedo bigger than the hole that’s the size of a whomp-rat? If it is, the Enterprise is in trouble.

No Enterprise (particularly not the Sovereign-class Enterprise-E) could stand a chance against the Death Star. It’s far too big and would need to be incredibly fast in order to begin any kind of approach. And also, it’s too big and impossible to maneuver at that level. Maybe a shuttlecraft could last if it got close enough to launch a photon torpedo down the exposed control duct.

I’d bet on both of them.

I must agree the photon torpedo is too big for the exhaust port and the enterprise itself is too big to maneuver inside the super structure

You need the Doctor’s TARDIS and materialise inside the Death Star in order to start a chain reaction of destruction from the inside as witnessed at the start of the last Christmas special. Which reminds me, the new series of Woo is about to start here. That’s Saturday evening sorted then.

One shot from the death star and the Enterprise would be history! Besides, Vader could choke Picard from a distance!

Capt Kirk would have come up with a way to defeat the Death Star. Even if he had to cheat and rewrite the script.

You’re a geek if you even show up for the conversation, regardless of your choice.

The Death Star’s oversights of typical of evil dark lords. They become over confident and arrogant and overlook all sorts of glaring weaknesses. That’s how Voldemort lost. That’s how Sauron got his clock cleaned. And Darth Vader couldn’t use his dark side enhanced powers against incoming threats he didn’t see. When some peon officer gives him lip, sure, then he can put on the choke hold. But when the rebels lob a pineapple and he’s not even watching, it doesn’t matter what tricks he can do.

Who is Septimus Snape? Any relation to Severus Snape? And Snape never took it as far as Vader. J.K. Rowling opined that, if he’d had it to do over, knowing then what he learned later, he would never have joined the Death Eaters. When he first joined, he had no idea how crazy it was going to get. He was a teenager trying to impress a girl. He was like a kid who listens to too much death metal- it seems cool when it isn’t too real.

Now there was Septimus in STARDUST. He pushed hard to become an evil overlord, but in the end, he just wasn’t holding all the cards.

The fact that 2 Death stars are history and the Enterprise is still going should end the argument,

All depends on who’s at the tiller. What kind of crew that has your back. And having never read any of the discussions on this …… I’m going with the Enterprise. Though Serenity with Mal and crew could have also done in the Deathstar.

Severus. Anyway, they don’t have to hit it with a photon torpedo. They can just transport in some antimatter and watch it go up, since sci-fi anti-matter is utterly unstable. Hell, England can out-shoot the Death Star – at least Torchwood can aim at something smaller than Oldoran!

The Death Star, like an aircraft carrier, surrounds itself with Star Destroyers to prevent an attack from another vessel. In a one on one encounter, which seems to be the question posed, the Enterprise just has to get opposite the main weapon before the black helmet techs stop repeating “Stand by”.

You’re all forgetting who comes with the Enterprise. I’d back Kirk, etc. against anyone in the death star. Kirk will go back in time or come out of some kind of energy ribbon to save the day.

Enterprise would just transport a photon torpedo into Vaders lap.
