Show up at practice Monday? That’s practically a week away. What’s with the wait? Mimi looking very hawk-like today. Her face is very inconsistent from one day to the next.

And wouldn’t Mimi wonder who Amanda’s friend is? I can’t believe Milford is such a huge school that Mimi just figures she’ll wait and see.

I don’t see any kids toys so she probably did not have a kid. Maybe she was a he last year.

The Fritsch’s Big Boy ad to the right is annoying by popping up. I’ll never eat there again. Wonder if Darby’s shirt is giving us a clue?

Hmm, I’m just throwing this out for a plot twist, but maybe Darby is secretly one of the missing Thorp children and she can’t reveal her secret identity at the risk of creating yet another Milford scandal.

Maybe she likes to play for fun but it stops being fun when it is organized to well.

Maybe she was real fat and doesn’t want her stretch marks to show in her shorts.

It is obvious that Mimi has had some work done with Joan Rivers plastic surgeon. Maybe Darby has a problem playing on the same team as her girlfriend, Amanda.

Nice rooftop perspective in P2. Quite a head of hair Darby has. She could secretly be one of “Charlie’s Angels”

I’m going to go with the Jim Abbott theory.

P1 – Is Amanda doing some type of workout to build core strength? Holding the books like that can get difficult after a few minutes.P2 – Frisbee on the Roof Cam!P3 – She has a birthmark that the other kids will ridicule in the locker room? A block M tattoo she regrets? 6 toes on one foot? It’s against her religion? I can’t wait until April when we find out what it is.

Darby doesn’t look like she was ever a he — don’t think that’s it. Still betting on teen motherhood.

Darby’s got a conflict because of her part-time job as a stripper.

I don’t know. Having a kid as a teenager doesn’t seem like the “silliest of reasons” not to play for the school team.

Got a point there — “silliest of reasons” would really by minimizing the impacts of having a child. Maybe we’ll find out tomorrow …

At the beginning she said she enjoyed pitching herself back into shape. That either indicates she became fat (pregnant?) or that she used to be a good pitcher and took time off. Maybe she beaned someone.

Because I don’t freaking want to is not a silly reason.

I had thought about the Abbott theory but I believe we have seen both hands, with the high five the first time she showed up. “Played back into shape” was a hint that lead me to posit the motherhood scenario but that doesnt sound like a silly reason. I think she must have killed somebody with a high fastball.

I think you guys are right that having a kid is not a silly reason and sorry kdizzle killing someone isn’t a silly reason either. I’m sticking with the stretch marks.
