With a son like his, I would think Homer Simpson would be all for contraceptives.

When the council of bishops has some women on it, it’ll have some creditability on women’s health issues. The rest of the Catholic Church has spoken, and they’re okay with women’s health. Now, I’m curious how strongly Santorum defend the church’s teaching on the death penalty and universal health care…

There are actually many conservative, Catholic and Christian women that are pro-life, anti baby murdering, anti contraception and anti-Obamacare. They just are not given as much attention in the press these days, so the argument seems unbalanced.

    Another propagandizing by Oliphant.

Simply put, many “legislators” should be in prison for practicing medicine without a license. Homer is also, definitely, the most intelligent and “open minded” on the panel.

I’ve watched the Simpsons for over twenty years, Don’t ever recall Homer speaking out against contraception.

Lawyers and Bureaucrats (on both sides) are trying to legislate LIFE. There is no hope for common sense.

Funny cartoon, especially the way he draws those people, and the expression he gives them, and their funny clothes.

Washington, Jefferson, Madison, et. al., all sinners against a King who claimed authority from God.

Count, that’s not the point. I think the point is Homer’s intellectual capacity.

Where did God tell us that women have no right to control what goes on in their bodiesbut men can force us to gestate and give birth?

The perfect solution to birth control for Catholic bishops — just find a nice innocent little boy. Why would they have any understanding of what women need or want — why would they even care? (And they don’t on either count).
