They love me, They love me, (wait, that first one didn’t actually love me),They love me not, They love me, They really should have loved me but they loved Gingrich,They love me, They love me not,They love me not, They love me not, They love me not, ……oh crap. Well, they love me (as long as we ignore three of those burdensome counties completely…)
LBJ used an ad similar to that against Barry Goldwater in 1968. This add actually ran only once but was so effective that it virtually ended Goldwater’s hopes. Of course LBJ’s ad used an innocent little girl counting “down” to zero as she set and plucked peddles off-of a daisy flower. At zero a nuclear bomb detonates in the background. It spoke to the fears that middle class Americans had (at that time) over the threat of Nuclear War and to Goldwater’s staunch, uncompromising right-wing POV’s and perceived willingness to use nuclear weapons.
Mitt, above, at best or at worst is just counting down to either a “dud” nomination or his own implosion.

Love means never having to say you’re sorry. Or, maybe it just demonstrates how “sorry” you really are?

I said that yesterday on one of the other strips where Obama was painting a flower. The GOP would tear the flower apart.

I think the libs are just mad that they won’t be able to choose the next president unless they change political parties.
