No, I don’t think Flood will cut it. Talk radio show hosts like Rush Limbaugh and his opposites are so full of hot air they’d just float to the top.

Hmm, suddenly I’m reminded of “God, the Devil, and Bob:”

God: Hi, God here. So I’m all set to destroy the world, then I thought, hey, I’m not that kind of God. If just one person proved it’s worth saving, I’ll spare it. And, being a sporting deity, I let the Devil choose. So, folks, here’s your last chance at salvation.

Bob: (God’s making him float in the air) Wow! This is good beer!

God: Oh, boy. Well, folks, I wouldn’t make any long term plans….

I actually miss this show – the banter between God (James Garner) and the Devil (Alan Cumming) was always priceless. But I turned off the sound when Bob was on screen – he was an idiot.

God, the flood didn’t work the last time. You left too many idiots behind. And speaking of Rush…

I’ve always thought that the Old Testament God must have stepped away from his project for a moment, left someone else in charge while he was gone and is really going to be upset when he gets back and sees what a mess we are in now.

The caption should read “Your plan is working but Obama’s taking too long.” You idiots don’t even realize that Rush is right about practically everything? I love Lefties – they’re so stupid and simplistic.

I’ve always wondered why God rewarded Satan’s treachery by giving him half of the universe. He builds us weak, allows the devil to temp us where our weaknesses are, and then blames us if we give into temptation…God kinda seems like a sicko…no offense…

I read all of the comments. That was tough enough. There were about 5 “idiots” and 2 “stupids”. At that point, it is no longer debate, it is name-calling. I would hope for better from the Wiley fans.

Another great quote from God the Devil and Bob:

God: The Devil and I have a deal. I get them until they’re 12, he gets them until they’re 20.

If by “among us” you mean among commenters on Wiley, probably not many. If you mean “among humans,” consider Krugman….http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/20/opinion/krugman-pain-without-gain.html?_r=2&scp=10&sq=KRUGMAN&st=cse

I remember God, the Devil, and Bob. God looked like a gray haired Jerry Garcia. The conversations between God and the Devil were great. About the same time, there was a show called “That’s Our Bush”. Anybody remember that? It got pulled pretty quickly…The one where George takes ecstasy was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen…..

“…lately it seems they have been running scared of the reicht-wing accusations that NPR is liberal and have been running a lot of one guest shows with some “conservative” idiot or another.” Look at their funding and you’ll see why—something upwards of 30 percent at most stations comes from “foundations and grants,” which is another way of saying “corporations and rich people.” True, at most stations more like 50 percent comes from individual listener contributions, but we’re all spread out and don’t have the clout that a couple millionaires have.

Hey, it depends on your beliefs. We believe in a devil for his prophet lived in an undisclosed location for eight years. There must therefore be a God because nature abhors a vacuum. :-)

And where did they learn such behavior? By watching the rest of the MSM kiss DNC butt, that’s where! Just can’t stand the fact that Fox is the most watched, or that most of its “lies” consist with disagreeing with Leftist opinions, and the rest are trivial errors or debatable, can you.

“And where did they learn such behavior? By watching the rest of the MSM kiss DNC butt, that’s where!” Until you realize your side’s “facts” are less likely to be true than the Right’s facts, perhaps a bit of calmness on your behalf, would be in order. Your side, last I heard, was still pretending that putting green pieces of paper in Al Gore’s wallet would make the Sun stop overheating the Earth and other planets. Name a whopper on that order, told by the Right!

The Maya did not predict the “end of the world” on December 21, 2012. That date simply happens to be 13.0.0.0.0 on the Long Count calendar, marking the end of the 13th “baktun” (a calendar unit that is 144,000 days long) and starts the beginning of the next baktun. The ending of such a cycle would warrant a really big New Year celebration, which is exactly what the ancient Maya did.

Tying the date with a cataclysm was a New Age concoction from the 1970s, fueled by poor understandings of basic astronomy (like a comical notion of “galactic alignment”) and a desire to elevate a near-extinct group of brown people to magic wizard status. In reality, the Maya were like anyone else. They just had a really accurate calendar and were not in fact magic at all, despite all the uneducated pandering racism people inflict on them.
