I don’t mean to be critical, but isn’t this gag as old as horse racing?

To paraphrase W C Fields, it’s time to take the hoirse by the tail and face the situation.

Andy’s tip was off the mark.

Andy thought his tip came from a tout, but his nickname was doubt.

Andy should have been suspicious betting on a horse named Wheezy :-)

Not funny today, Mr. Smythe, really not.

I enjoy the Andy Cap comic strip and always will.

I have lost money nags like that before.. There have been times when i swore i could have ridden the horse better and at least crossed the finish line with the rest of the horses.
