A terrier can whip a cat three times his size. Seen them do it.

Terriers were bred to be able to leap up and rip out the throat of deer. Though Bucky is obnoxious and yes, a jerk, as is often the case in life, as far as the terrier goes—- takes one to know one.

I think I’d place a little on I.Q.

I seem to recall Bucky losing a fight with a chicken a couple of years ago. Also, Fungo is considerably smaller than Bucky, too, and we know how their conflicts turn out!

Think it is seriously time for Bucky to take a nap… that whole thing about fighting another day …..

You know, Get Fuzzy doesn’t even need dialogue balloons…they are just the icing on the cake. The art work always does it for me. The looks on all their faces throughout today’s strip are priceless.Just look at Satchel as he tentatively looks on as Bucky and Muttly have their discussion in panel one. And Muttly in the last frame…I love it!
