Yup, L trumps them all, Monty. Don’t you see a trend here after the week’s rejections? Speed-dating is not the solution to your problem, Monty. It’s just a faster form of failure….

Love how even he knows having to date him would be a loss for her.

“Rats, you win… you don’t ever have to see me again.”

See, Monty, you gave her the idea for loser L yourself in the second panel. You’re subconsciously holding yourself back. It’s better to let it all out and get it out of your system. Go up on the room and shout, at the top of your lungs, “I’m a loser and I’m not afraid to love myself for what I am!” Then stay up there, curl into a little ball next to the air vent, and whimper like a small child for a while. Works for everyone else I know.

She’s actually giving him the finger but Jim Meddick needed to adapt the gesture for a family-friendly strip.

One can never be sure what finger that is in the Monty 3 finger universe.

If Monty is a loser, what does that make me?

Monty sings: “I’m a loooooser! I’m a looooser! And I’m not what I appear to be.”

Maybe he should borrow Charlie Sheen’s little black book, and call some good hookers

Speed dating: $20 to get 20 rejections instead of $50 each rejection. Sounds like a win for Monte to me.
