Uhhh, the Dems got clobbered in 2004, remember Tig? Bush was re-elected and the Repubs tightened their control of the Congress.

But….whatever floats yer boat.

Well yes…but that’s an argument for another time.

My fondest wish for 2012 is that Mr. Toles prediction here proves correct and that President Obama gets some real leeway to repair the damage that has been wreaked on this country and the world by the corporate puppet masters that own the Republican party (and, to be totally honest, a lot of “blue dog” Democrats as well).

Well, first you have to belong to a party that does not understand the meaning of the word “truth”…

It is not possible to re-elect someone that wasn’t elected in the first place. It is a misnomer they enjoy flaunting thereby showing their ignorance.

Or a wing nut that truly believes the republicans will trickle down some some wealth to it one day. I wonder when the doubts will start. Soon I hope.

Why does the party that hates “government”, and made the biggest mess of it to prove it (though certainly not alone) want to run it? They’re even running AGAINST themselves, with not a whit of positive suggestions to actually solve ANY problems? Oh, right, no taxes and no regulations, that’s accomplished so much already! Maybe for China.

Pay a little more, get a little less, whether social security, medicare, OR tax “breaks”. NO MORE wars! (too simplistic) Cut budgets a little across the board, and drop spending (like on non-functioning weapons systems) that don’t lead to progress. DO spend where needed to make sure we HAVE an environment, and yes, make the industries, and “served customers” pay for the cost, for future generations, instead of making THEM pay for our carelessness and well, outright stupidity. Reinstate sensible rules to manage “business”, and the “lending” industry. RAISE interest rates, so that people WILL save again, and thus, there will be money for PEOPLE, not just corporations, to borrow again. The government LOANING money to banks, then borrowing it back at higher interest has also worked SO well for the “average taxpayer”.

A little “centrist” common sense is needed, not more politics as usual, from EITHER party, divided against the needs and will of the people.

If Tigger’s a bot, its prgrammers should be fired as incompetent; the repetition in its comments is matched only by their incomprehensibility.

I suspect Tigger is both real and sincere, but no less remarkable, in that s/he seems to be a human being who can’t pass the Turing Test.

Me thinks those tusks should more likely wind up the PAChyderm arse.
