48 years ago my friends were receiving bicycles like that — Schwinns with wide front bar and twin headlights. The things were heavy as tanks.

Sure, Christmas means a little bit more, but sometimes it’s OK to enjoy what you can get from a store, especially when you’re a little kid. So I wouldn’t worry, Linus.

Actually, Linus already had everything he needed before Christmas day: A roof over his head, food, water, clothing, shoes. What else could he want? He’s just whining now!

Linus, in his way of thinking, probably wished for peace on Earth and prosperity. He got all the material things he wanted. Linus just needs to have more faith in God. Merry Christmas to all you Peanuts fans.
