We want zoom! I have to agree with Flight Suit – the shout-outs are getting tiresome. You can have too much of a good thing. I also find the arc interruptions annoying – why cut to the Flakey Biscuits crisis and back again? Or is Mz. Rize planning to sell the Biscuit remains to Kadaver?Does anyone recall the Goulds strips of the late 60’s, which were so grahically gory? I still remember a close-up of a villain who had been shot in the head.
Still hard to ignore the similarities between this villain and Abner Cadaver the recurring archvillain of Savage Dragon (appearance, funky speech balloons and all). http://www.writeups.org/fiche.php?id=4104 Mike said he didn’t know of that Abner, but surely Joe does? (Joe’s been around alternative comix for a loooong time…)

To my recollection, coloring books were black & white. I used Craolas to fill in the color.

I’m honestly just assuming that the art we saw colored yesterday was for the front and back covers of the coloring book, which WOULD be colored.
