Andy: ‘Check!’
So he goes home and places fire extinguisher in microwave to recharge.
I always did my own cooking, laundry, cleaning, ironing, dishes, nothing to it.whether you live alone or with a woman. The only time I had a maid come in was when I lived with a woman… It was better than picking up after her.
Andy has no money to go to the pub.
It’s a wonder he didn’t have a beer party at his house with all of the " lads" round. Like he used to in the really old strips.

In case you haven’t noticed, Andy Capp takes place in England, where it quite literally takes an act of Parliament to get a divorce.
I too would expect Andy to have the boys over ‘throwing the bones’ around. Time to party while Flo’s away!
