I don’t get it. Google says Malia is a place in Crete…. and also one of Obamas daughters… his daughter is running against him for the Republickenz because President is the only job??? That’s pretty convoluted.

Obama has tried “compromise” far too long. But if you think about it, had he come into the White House with his slight (and some say imaginary) majority and FIXED everything, everyone would have had a big problem with his LACK of compromise.

It’s figurative. Rall is saying his base is so eroded even his daughters would be working against him. His base is tired of him bending over backwards and conceding core values before the fight’s even begun in an attempt to appease a party that has absolutely no intention of compromising with him — it’d be political suicide for them to amongst their own base. That being said, Obama’s approval ratings are higher than theirs.

OK, that makes sense that the receptionist is his daughter. But his kids are literally still kids aren’t they? The woman looks to be a lot older than one of Obama’s kids. Also, the situation of him meeting here there just bumping into each other is weird… I was trying to look at his jacket and read to see if he was turning republican too.Anyway, I think this is not Ted’s best, sorry to be so critical. “Only job in America” is also just a bit too useless of a hyperbole. What about all the “professional” “volunteers” in the military?
