Um, Henry Ford was a Nazi lover. Sent big donations to Hitler.

The Henry Ford reference is exactly what its supposed to mean. Look up Ford. He did some amazing things for and against humanity. The different color squirrels mentioned are only found in the Detroit area, the most segregated city in the US in a survey taken about 10 years ago.

Ford had copies of an anti-Semitic book called “The International Jew” that was available at all Ford dealers.

…no,the black squirrels are also in N.E. Ohio.It is a famous breed there.Coffee Shops,etc named after them…..

The worst thing Henry Ford did against humanity was prevent Robertson screws and screwdrivers from being commonly used outside Canada. I pity the rest of the world every time I use a screwdriver.

Actually, Robertson refused to license the screws to Ford. Because Ford couldn’t depend on a steady supply, he used the Phillips.

That is true about Ford……..on the good side…Well, it is always said that his big innovation was the conveyer system of building cars, so his cars could be made inexpensively. The truth is he invented the high wage manufacturing job. He paid his workers at least twice what other workers were making. His logic was that he would sell more cars if his workers could afford them too. Businesses might want to consider that nowadays…..

As far as the squirrels, are we sure they don’t all hate each other?.

The squirrels I’ve observed didn’t seem to have much use for each other except at mating time.

Squirrel trivia: when you see squirrels skittering around in the trees, playfully chasing and batting at each other… in reality, they’re males, and they’re trying to remove each others’ reproductive organs to reduce the competition for mates..Evolution, she be a harsh mistress…

Certainly, before Ford there were no cheap, abundant, ‘bedrooms on wheels’, as Philip Wylie called them.

It’s easy for us to look back and say that Hitler was evil.It wasn’t so easy for those looking at him before WWII started.

He may have repented but there were anti -semitic articles on Hitler’s table written by Ford.
